Committees

Committees are created and defined by the NJPA Bylaws.

Bylaws Committee

Bylaws Section 6.3.2-This committee is appointed by the Board of Trustees and is under the authority of the Council on Finance and Resources. The committee must be comprised of former officers of the Association.

Ethics Committee

Bylaws Section 6.5.1-This committee is appointed by the Board of Trustees and is under the authority of the Council on Professional Standards. The Ethics Committee will review complaints made against members in accordance with the procedures of the American Psychiatric Association. Committee members are drawn from across the state and committee spots are open to non-officers

Nominating Committee

Bylaws Section 6.3.1 and 3.2-This committee is appointed by the Board of Trustees and is under the authority of the Council on Finance and Resources. The Committee recommends a panel of candidates annually for each office vacant or to become vacant.  Committee members are drawn from across the state and committee spots are open to non-officers.
