Committees are created and defined by the NJPA Bylaws.
Bylaws Section 6.3.2-This committee is appointed by the Board of Trustees and is under the authority of the Council on Finance and Resources. The committee must be comprised of former officers of the Association.
Bylaws Section 6.5.1-This committee is appointed by the Board of Trustees and is under the authority of the Council on Professional Standards. The Ethics Committee will review complaints made against members in accordance with the procedures of the American Psychiatric Association. Committee members are drawn from across the state and committee spots are open to non-officers
