Inpatient Psychiatrist

The Department of Psychiatry at Centrastate Medical Center is looking for inpatient psychiatrist. This is an excellent opportunity for part time, board certified psychiatrist. Great flexibility, work load is average 20 hours per week with average income of $200,000.

Duties include:
1. covering for acute inpatient psychiatric patients for daily rounds and or completing assessments. Average 4-5 patients.
2. Two weekdays of coverage part time for consultation liason. Average 3-4 patients  and telephone consultations.
3. One (1) week on call coverage every 5 weeks.

The doctor will join the other 3 psychiatrists & APN , who perform the same duties.
We provide electroconvulsive therapy ECT. ECT coverage is optional.
