Psycho-Oncology Psychiatry Faculty Positions
MEMORIAL SLOAN-KETTERING (MSK) CANCER CENTER invites applications for two full time psychiatry positions in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. These faculty positions offer opportunities for clinical care, teaching, and research. These positions will provide psychiatric care to MSK’s regional sites in New Jersey and Westchester. One position will provide care to MSK’s Basking Ridge and Monmouth sites. The other position will provide care to MSK’s Westchester and Bergen sites. Candidates must have clinical experience and appropriate training in working with adult cancer patients and their families. These positions will work with patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses and stages. Board certification or eligibility in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry is preferred. These full-time positions provide a unique opportunity for a blend of patient care, teaching/fellowship training, research, and program development. The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences currently has 40 full-time faculty with wide interests in psycho-oncology clinical care, teaching, and research. This search is open to potential candidates at all levels of career experience and appointments will be made at an academic level commensurate with the appointee’s experience. All faculty hold academic appointments at the Weill Cornell Medical College. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
