Summit Oaks Hospital has been providing psychiatric and substance abuse treatment services to patients since 1902. Through inpatient care and outpatient services, we offer treatment programs for children, adolescents and adults. The hospital is located in beautiful Summit, NJ and our expert clinicians provide compassionate care. Summit Oaks Hospital seeks an energetic, enthusiastic physician desiring a position in a hospital that is recovery oriented and compassionate in the delivery of care.

To provide high quality weekend rounding coverage and ensure our patients have continual physician contact. The psychiatrist is responsible for promoting, maintaining, or restoring health through the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the individual. Summit Oaks Hospital will focus on the care of those seeking general psychiatric acute care in addition to a number of specialty inpatient services including Detox, Rehabilitation, Child, Adolescent, and Dual Diagnosis.
1 to 4 weekends per month and also holiday and/or vacation coverage. Work on a Saturday and/or Sunday with flexible start times. 24 or 48 hour call, expected to be in house to round on over 20 patients daily and available by phone. Need to be within 1 hours distance for face to face evaluation for restrictive intervention evaluation.
The hospital provides competitive salary accompanied with malpractice insurance.
